My son‘s ninja class resumed back in July, they implemented many changes including much smaller class (no more than 3 but usually only 2 or by yourself) checking temperature, stepping into a tray of disinfectant going in the building, many many hand sanitizers, constantly wiping down everything, mask wearing..and, no more supplying chalk powder for when they use the monkey bars. First time we went back, after not having been at the place for so long, my son got blisters on his hand from using the monkey bars due to the constant use of hand sanitizers and not having any chalk powder available for his hands.
First thing I did coming hom was to go on Amazon and bought this for him. I kept it in a ziplock bag to carry, yes, without a bag it will get very messy. I wish it comes with a bag, but ziplock bag works okay. My son is 6 and I find the large one too big for his hands, I prob should have either gotten the two little ones or the medium sized one. Again, that was my mistake for not picking the right size, but the chalk is fine and my son is very happy finally having some chalk for his hands, and it is his personal one. I do feel bad that he is not allowed to share with others but also understand the concerns.
I think this one will last him quite a while, but when it is time to replace it I will pay better attention to the size, bigger is not always better.

If your a gymnast and practices at home this is a great alternative then messy loose chalk buckets. Plus it’s portable so when my daughter wants to chalk the bars or beam she just uses this. There is a lot less waste too. It lasts for a very long time.

First and foremost I am not a weightlifter or rock climber. But I feel my viewpoint is important for people in other fields.
As a matter of fact haven’t taken part in organized sports since I joined the military 24 years ago besides coaching little league anyway. But I do use this in my workshop when I am using my hand planes to flatten boards and I am so STOKED about the results. I’m old-school and prefer hand tools as it allows a personal connection to your work. But I was blistering easy and always ended up using gloves. I don’t have sensation in my hands because of neurological issues so I wouldn’t know I was bleeding until I seen it. Now I just chalk up and go to work. I callus instead of blister now and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you guys for making my job easier even though it’s not in the same field.

I bought this product for my daughter after we purchased a high bar for her. Prior to purchase she let us know she was slipping. The chalk ball really helped her and there’s no more slipping.
